Monday will be the start of a warm streak here in the Midstate. Although we will start in the 40s in the morning, the afternoon will be warmer with highs ranging from the upper 70s to lower 80s with partly cloudy skies.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be dry and windy days. Wind gusts can reach up to 30 km/hour. Skies will be partly to mostly sunny on both days, with highs in the low to mid 80s.

Halloween will still be warm with highs around 80 degrees. Later in the day a cold front will begin to move through which will bring us some much needed rain. Unfortunately, that rain comes right at the height of trick-or-treating time. Most children need umbrellas or raincoats with their costumes.

Showers are expected on Halloween evening.

Rain will linger into Friday morning, especially in areas east of I-65, and cooler air will take over. Highs on Friday will be back in the upper 60s, reaching around 70ºF.

NEXT WEEKEND

There will be a mix of sun and clouds on both Saturday and Sunday. Temperatures are warming up again with highs around 80 degrees. There is a chance of a few showers on Sunday, otherwise a lot of dry time is expected.
