2 dead and 1 seriously injured after the second fatal shooting at an encampment in as many days

Two people are dead and one is in critical condition after a shooting at a homeless camp in Minneapolis Sunday afternoon.

Three people were arrested in connection with the incident, which occurred near 44th Street and Snelling Avenue around 2:30 p.m. According to the police, they are not suspects, but they have been arrested for questioning.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been released.

The shooting comes next one person was fatally shot and two were injured at a small sidewalk encampment along 15e Avenue South early Saturday morning.
