‘Home Improvement’ star Zachery Ty Bryan arrested for second DUI

Home improvement actor Zachary Ty Bryan has been arrested for his second misdemeanor DUI charge of the year.

This was reported by the Custer County Sheriff’s Office recordsthe star was booked at 8:34 a.m. on October 25 for allegedly driving under the influence and failing to produce a valid driver’s license. The charges follow his previous DUI this year in his hometown of La Quinta, California in February per reports. At the time, he was arrested on a misdemeanor charge and for alleged contempt of court. Bryan was able to post a total bond of $65,000 for his release the same day.

Per TMZBryan has three or more criminal cases to his name and could face up to three years in prison if convicted. The report also alleged that Bryan refused to submit to a field sobriety test and was involved in an accident that resulted in property damage.

This news follows a series of legal issues that Bryan has faced in recent years, including one arrest for domestic violence last year. That’s what he was for pleaded guilty in 2021 to two felonies in a domestic violence case in Oregon. He was placed on probation for three years and required to participate in an assault program.

He is best known for his role as eldest son Brad Taylor in the 1990s Tim Allen sitcom on ABC. His other TV credits include Veronica Mars, Burn Notice, Smallville, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, ER, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and the Knight Rider reboot, among other things. He was executive producer of the 2018 feature film The kindergarten teacher starring Maggie Gyllenhaal.
