BANG & OLUFSEN BEOPLAY H100 HEADPHONES

Bang & Olufsen has announced its new flagship headphones Beoplay H100, reaching back into almost a century of history to redefine the future of listening. Building on the success of the Beoplay H95, Bang & Olufsen’s most successful headphones to date, the Beoplay H100 has been improved in almost every discipline: unparalleled high-quality sound, excellent digital noise cancellation, a new modular construction and a beautiful design that builds on Bang & Olufsen. Olufsen’s design icons.

“The Beoplay H100 takes what we’ve achieved over the past decade to the next level and defines our future: an era where beautiful sound is built to last. It represents the true potential of what a Bang & Olufsen audio wearable can be, and we can’t wait to bring the headphones to our customers,” said Kristian Teär, CEO of Bang & Olufsen, continuing:

“Inspired by the unparalleled performance of our Beolab speakers, our iconic designs of the past and modular construction that embraces excellent materials and circularity, the Beoplay H100 truly embodies our design and innovation capabilities.”

Design that goes beyond comfort

The Beoplay H100 is made of the best quality materials to provide a fuller, finer sound where necessary.

The Beoplay H100 has a silky smooth, scratch-resistant and tempered glass touch interface on the side of the headphones. Together with precise haptic dials and tactile buttons, all essential controls are easily accessible. The new removable inner headband, finely wrapped in knitted textile, is ergonomically designed to provide all-day breathability and comfort. Even the soft lambskin-covered ear cushions have been customized to deliver an experience that feels as good as it sounds.

The Beoplay H100 is available in three timeless colorways: Infinite Black, Hourglass Sand and Sunset Apricot. The Infinite Black color references Bang & Olufsen’s classic design aesthetic, where the deep black leather contrasts with the natural-toned aluminum. The Hourglass Sand color has a Scandinavian tone-on-tone approach, while Sunset Apricot has a light copper aluminum that contrasts beautifully with the warm peach tones of the leather.

“Designing an immersive sound experience with ultimate comfort was crucial in the development process when creating the Beoplay H100,” says Bang & Olufsen Head of Design, Tiina Kierysch. “We wanted to use high-quality materials and colours, inspired by fine jewellery, to create a timeless and sophisticated design. With the solid shine of aluminum, the softness of leather and the cold-to-the-touch glass, the Beoplay H100 not only stands for excellent sound, it also feels like excellent design,” she continues.

The lightweight and luxurious leather bag provides easy and stylish portability while traveling. When outside the case and not being worn, Beoplay H100 enters a power saving mode, extending standby time up to 90 days, while remaining ready to activate when worn. When the headphones are stored in the pouch, they turn off completely, allowing a standby time of more than a year.

To appreciate great sound, you need silence

With custom 40mm titanium drivers behind elegant aluminum grilles, the Beoplay H100 delivers Hi-Res sound, tuned by renowned Bang & Olufsen soundmasters. To take the sound experience to the next level, the team has leveraged their expertise and principles to create headphones inspired by the Danish audio brand’s statement speaker Beolab 90.

“The Beoplay H100 is the best headphones we have ever made. Whether you are listening to your favorite music, making a phone call in a noisy environment, controlling the effect of the environment with active noise cancellation or audio transparency, the H100 always delivers exceptional audio performance,” said Bang & Olufsen, director of technology Neo Kaplanis. .
