MoCI announces recall of the Mercedes S-Class 2024 model

Doha, Qatar: The Ministry of Trade and Industry, in collaboration with Nasser Bin Khaled and Sons Automobiles, Qatar’s Mercedes dealer, has announced the recall of the Mercedes S-Class, model 2024, because the powertrain control unit software may not corresponds to the current series production configuration. The driver may notice some jerks while shifting gears.
The ministry said the recall campaign comes as part of ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers monitor vehicle defects and repairs.
The ministry said it will work with the dealer to monitor maintenance and repair work and communicate with customers to ensure necessary repairs are made.
