One dead, another transported in Marmet crash

MARMET, W.Va. (WSAZ) – One person has died and another was taken to a local hospital after a crash in Marmet, West Virginia.

According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Department, two cars appear to have crashed into each other early Monday morning. The call came in just after 1am

The roadway at 7891 MacCorkle Avenue southeast in Marmet – the Capitol Ford area – is currently closed and police do not know when it will reopen.
