Sodus man threatened person with gun in front of child, deputies say

A Sodus man was taken into custody and released after a domestic incident last weekend.

Exavien Skillins, 23, of Sodus was arrested for menacing and child endangerment after he was taken into custody around 3 a.m. Sunday.

He is accused of brandishing a weapon, which appeared to be a rifle, while endangering the victim’s safety during a domestic incident.

The entire incident took place in the presence of a child, officers said.

He was taken into custody and taken to the Ontario County Jail until his arraignment.
