Patrick Mahomes scared the rest of the NFL with post-game comments on DeAndre Hopkins

DeAndre Hopkins made two catches, including a third-down conversion and Patrick Mahomes called it ‘high level stuff’, according to NBC Sports. Yep, the rest of the NFL is done.

If Mahomes and Hopkins If you get into a rhythm that torches the secondary players the rest of the way, it can be bad for the league. Especially since that could mean a return to the lethal offense this offseason with a healthy receiving core.

Maybe Mahomes makes a hype of instilling fear in teams. But if he isn’t and has already figured out how Hopkins will be used in this offense for the rest of the year, then buckle up; we could be witnessing a three-peat nation.

We were all kind of anticipating it Kansas City Chiefs to look drastically better in the passing game with Hopkins in the lineup. It will obviously take about a week for him to learn the offense and become fully comfortable with his new unit.

But once that happens, if Mahomes can see all the potential of what the new passing game can look like, then everyone is indeed gone. Leaders‘ schedule may have a tougher task than they realized.

Somehow, Mahomes and the Chiefs have managed not to lose a game, yet they still have one of the longest injury lists in the NFL. Shout out coaching and shout about having a future quarterback in the Hall of Fame. That certainly goes a long way.

But it also fits with the culture Andy Reid has built in Kansas City. It’s reminiscent of what Bill Belichick did in New England and how they were able to build a dynasty. If the Chiefs aren’t in a dynasty yet, they aren’t far off.

And it seems like it doesn’t matter who walks through the doors and when. When they come in, they already know the expectations. It looks like Hopkins will fit right in.
