Biden casts his vote in Delaware in 2024 and calls Trump’s MSG rally ’embarrassing’

President Biden cast his early ballot in Delaware on Monday and told reporters he was confident about it Vice President Kamala Harris would slam former President Donald Trump, calling Trump’s rally Sunday at Madison Square Garden in New York City a disgrace.

Biden waited in line with other voters outside the Delaware State Department of Elections and helped push an elderly woman in a wheelchair in front of him before casting his ballot. After voting, Biden greeted reporters outside, where he was asked if it was a bittersweet moment.

Biden responded: “No, this is just sweet.”

Biden stepped down from his re-election campaign in July after poor debate performances that fueled concerns about his health and Democrats’ worries about his chances of beating Trump.

Biden was asked what he thought massive rally that Trump held at Madison Square Garden the night before.

“It’s beneath any president, but we’re used to that,” Biden said. “That’s why these elections are so important.”

Biden added that Trump questions his own character “every time he opens his mouth.”

Trump took the stage Sunday evening before a packed house of thousands of supporters, focusing his speech on spiraling immigration, inflation concerns and looking to the future with lower consumer costs and securing the border.

When asked about the Israel-Hamas war and a possible ceasefire, Biden responded: “We need a ceasefire, we need to end this war.”

Biden was asked about another conflict abroad, the war between Russia and Ukraine North Korea deploys troops to help Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“It’s very dangerous,” Biden said of the apparent escalation.

The series of questions included asking if he was thinking Elon Musk’s $1 million offer for swing-state voters who signed his political action committee’s petition in support of the Constitution constituted election interference. Biden called the tech billionaire’s offer “totally inappropriate.”

Biden was also asked if he thought Democrats — including Harris — would win.
