Person killed after being hit by a car in Mannington car park

MANNINGTON, W.Va. (WDTV) – One person was killed after being struck by a vehicle in a Mannington parking lot Monday morning.

According to Marion County 911 officials, the crash occurred at Rainbow Plaza at approximately 9:40 a.m.

It is not known whether the patient was transported to hospital or died at the scene.

The Marion County Rescue Squad, Mannington Volunteer Fire Department and Mannington Police Department responded to the scene. The police will investigate the incident.
