The football game was canceled at halftime because Milwaukie claims Tillamook players used racist language

A football game was canceled at halftime Friday when Milwaukie players refused to come out of the locker room for the second half against Tillamook.

The Mustangs opted not to come out for the second half due to racist language during the first half of Friday’s game against Tillamook.

According to the Tillamook Headlight Heraldplay was stopped twice in the first half and Tillamook coach Kye Johnson and Milwaukie coach Jonathan Simpson had to meet with the officials before returning to their teams.
