One person is dead and three injured in a multi-vehicle crash in Phoenix

Around 3:25 p.m., emergency crews were called to the area of ​​40th and Cholla streets, where Phoenix Fire Department said one person needed extrication.

Two men and a child were injured and taken to hospital, while one of the men and the child were in critical condition. The other man was in stable condition.

A third man was killed in the crash.

The area will be closed while Phoenix police investigate.
