Lexington Police investigating shots fired incident

LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Police are investigating a shots fired incident in Lexington Monday afternoon.

They say the call came in around 2 a.m. from a person claiming he was being shot at near the intersection of Alexandria Drive and Darien Drive.

According to police, two cars were probably involved.

However, the individual left the scene before officers could gather more information and has not been contacted since.

Officers found shell casings on Alexandria Drive.

Further details about the incident remain unclear as the investigation continues.
