Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of raping 10-year-old boy: new trial

(NewsNation) — Sean “Diddy” Combs is accused of sexually assaulting a 10-year-old boy, according to a new complaint filed Monday. Variety and others reported.

It is one of two lawsuits filed in New York on Monday. In the second complaint, a male accuser said he was sexually assaulted by Combs in 2008 while auditioning for “Making the Band” at the age of 17.

The latest lawsuits come from what attorneys say are more than 100 plaintiffs planning legal action against Combs. The plaintiffs’ attorney, Tony Buzbee, announced the planned trial at an Oct. 1 news conference and posted a toll-free number for the plaintiffs to call.

Combs, 54, has pleaded not guilty to federal sex trafficking charges contained in an indictment announced the day after his Sept. 16 arrest. The indictment includes allegations that he coerced and abused women for years, aided by colleagues and employees, and silenced victims through blackmail and violence, including kidnapping, arson and physical abuse.

He remains in custody awaiting a May 5 trial after two judges denied bail in rulings appealed to the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

Combs’ attorneys have asked a judge to order potential witnesses and their attorneys to stop making statements that could hinder a fair trial.

As before, Combs’ representatives have dismissed the latest lawsuits as “obvious attempts to garner publicity.” They said Combs and his legal team “have full confidence in the facts, their legal defense and the integrity of the judicial process.”

Combs “has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, male or female,” she added.
