Farmington man charged with arson after house fire in Ontario County

A Farmington man has been charged with arson after a fire broke out at a home on Wheatstone Drive Sunday afternoon. New York State Police say Zachary Fisher, 22, is charged with recklessly setting the fire, which required emergency response around 2:30 p.m.

Fisher has been charged with fourth-degree arson and ticketed. He is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court on November 26.

Authorities have not released any information about a possible motive and the investigation remains ongoing.
