Suspect arrested after flashing gun in road rage incident in Springfield

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WGGB/WSHM) – A suspect was arrested in Springfield on Monday after shooting his gun at another driver.

According to Springfield police, a driver told an officer around 9 a.m. Monday that someone had shot a gun at him following a traffic incident that began on an I-91 offramp.

Officers found the suspect’s car on East Columbus Avenue and stopped it.

There they confiscated a firearm.

Ricardo Esteves-Cordero, 25, of Holyoke, was arrested and charged with assault with a dangerous weapon.
