First warning weather: showers on Tuesday afternoon and near-record heat ahead

ROCHESTER, NY — After a beautiful Tuesday morning, some rain will move through the region in the afternoon. Grab the umbrella if you’re out between noon and 3 p.m

Then it will become clear, because the warm front will pass Tuesday evening through Wednesday with a gusty southerly wind. Temperatures will rise into the mid and upper 70s on Wednesday, near record levels.

There will be more warmth for Halloween on Thursday with temperatures in the 70s to near 80 degrees. This year’s final Trick-or-Treat forecast shows a very mild Thursday evening with increasing cloud cover and showers arriving late after 9pm. At the moment it looks like the weather will be mainly dry for the children.
