Four dead and several injured in Russian attack on Kharkiv

Four people were killed and several were injured when Russian airstrikes on Kharkiv took place on Monday evening, October 28. mayor of the city.

The attack, a pre-guided aerial bomb, hit the city’s private sector in Osnovyansk district, destroying two houses and damaging about twenty others, Suspilne News reported.

Emergency and rescue operations were underway at the scene. The Ukrainian State Emergency Service (SES) said they had recovered the bodies of 4 people from the rubble: 2 women and 2 men. Two more people were injured, the SES added.

Drone images released by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office showed the extent of damage caused by the strike.
