Preston High School teacher accused of bringing a gun to school and giving it to a student

KINGWOOD, W.Va. (WDTV) – According to the Preston County Sheriff’s Office, a Preston High School teacher brought a gun into the classroom two weeks ago.

Officers were notified of the incident on Monday, October 21 and were told it had occurred the week before.

Adam McMillen, 31, of Kingwood, brought the gun to school and “gave it to a student,” officers said.

McMillen was arrested for possession of a weapon on school property, arraigned and released in the Preston County Magistrate Court on a $15,000 bond.
