Sean Combs charged with allegedly sexually assaulting 10-year-old boy in new round of lawsuits

Sean “Diddy” Combs was hit with a new round of disturbing lawsuits on Monday he is in a federal prison in Brooklyn awaiting trial on racketeering and sex trafficking charges. One of the new accusers says he was a 10-year-old aspiring rapper when Combs allegedly drugged and raped him during an audition at a New York City hotel in 2005.

The new complaints were filed by prominent Houston attorney Tony Buzbee and his California counterpart, Andrew Van Arsdale, as the latest in a barrage of lawsuits from an alleged pool of more than 120 screened clients. The lawyers previously filed thirteen lawsuits against Combs October 14 And October 20with many of the anonymous accusers claiming they had been covertly drugged, coerced into sexual acts without consent, and threatened into silence.

In the first new lawsuit filed Monday in New York state court, John Doe’s accuser says he was 10 when his parents accompanied him to Manhattan to meet with music industry executives, including Combs, to discuss his “budding” to advance your music career. He says a counselor hired by his parents took him to a hotel room and then left him with Combs. According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff was given a soft drink that he believes was laced with drugs.

“After the plaintiff consumed his soda and began to feel its effects, Combs told the plaintiff to move closer to him, which the plaintiff did. Combs then abruptly pushed the plaintiff down and said words to the effect of, “Sometimes you have to do things you don’t want to do,” according to the lawsuit. “After pushing the plaintiff down, Combs pulled his penis out of his pants and told the 10-year-old plaintiff to ‘kiss’ him. When the plaintiff resisted, Combs nevertheless forced his penis into the plaintiff’s mouth and then thrust it in and out repeatedly.” The accuser claims he “froze in fear,” lost consciousness and later woke up with his pants undone and pain in his anus and buttocks.

The new accuser claims his parents later noticed something was wrong. He says he told them what allegedly happened and that they were “terrified of the possible consequences of reporting the abuse.” He claimed he suffered from severe depression and anxiety and had to be home-schooled after the alleged incident.

“The attorney behind this lawsuit is interested in media attention rather than the truth, as is evident from his continued press appearances and his 1-800 number,” Combs’ media team wrote in an email to Rolling stone on Monday. “As we have said before, Mr. Combs cannot respond to every new publicity stunt, even in response to claims that are prima facie ridiculous or demonstrably untrue. Mr. Combs and his legal team have complete confidence in the facts and the integrity of the legal process. In court, the truth will prevail: that Mr. Combs never sexually abused or trafficked anyone – male or female, adult or minor.”

In a second lawsuit filed Monday, also in state court in Manhattan, a plaintiff for John Doe alleges that he was 17 years old in 2008 when he participated in a three-day audition for Making the tape. He claims that Combs began groping and fondling him during a private meeting on the first day while asking how he would handle situations of “sexual pressure” in the music industry. He says that a day later, during another private interview, Combs allegedly forced him to perform oral sex and sodomized him.

John Doe’s accuser claims that Combs and a bodyguard then attacked him together on the third day, with Combs viewing the attack as a test of his “willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed in the music industry,” according to the court case. He claims his apparent discomfort with the incident led to his elimination from the competition.

Combs’ current legal troubles date back to last November, when his ex-girlfriend Casandra “Cassie” Ventura sued her rape and sex trafficking lawsuit against him. Combs are arranged by Ventura within 24 hours. In her disturbing complaint, Ventura accused Combs of repeated physical violence and forced her to participate in highly choreographed, drug-fueled sexual encounters called “freak offs.”

A week after Ventura’s lawsuit made global headlines, two more women came forward with rape claims. Several others filed similar lawsuits in the months that followed, leading to a parallel criminal investigation Combs’ indictment last month by a grand jury. The controversial music mogul, 54, has pleaded not guilty. His trial will start next May.

On Friday, the judge overseeing Combs’ criminal case issued an order saying he expects all parties to follow the rules of evidence and keep sensitive, non-public information about Combs’ criminal case secret ahead of the trial. U.S. District Court Judge Arun Subramanian issued his directive in the Southern District of New York after Combs’ lawyers accused federal officials of leaking information to the media.

“For the avoidance of doubt, this order is not based on a finding that there has been any misconduct to date, as the court has not made any findings at this time regarding the defendant’s allegations that information relating to the case has been leaked,” said the judge. wrote. “The purpose of this order is to ensure that nothing happens from now on that could prevent a fair trial.”

If found guilty, Combs faces a minimum of 15 years in prison and a maximum of life behind bars.
