Gwen Stefani has a record on her voice, but I think Reba McEntire is coming for her after these latest fights

Spoiler alert! This story contains the results of one Night 4 Battle for The voice episode that aired on October 29. Episodes can be streamed the next day with a Peacock subscription.

If The voice Season 26 continues on the TV program 2024we are nearing the end of the battles. The teams become smaller, so the leaders start to break away from the peloton. While each coach on The voice features multiple performers who can push the envelope, Reba McEntire may hold the key to the trophy and the history books. There is even a specific record that is currently held by Gwen Stefani that – after watching Night 4 of the Battle round – I think the Queen of Country has a good chance of stealing away.

Long time ago followers of The voice might remember that Carter Rubin was crowned champion in season 19giving his coach Gwen Stefani her only victory to date. Carter was only 15 at the time and earned the distinction of being the youngest male winner of the competition. (Brynn Cartelli, member of Kelly Clarkson‘s Season 14 team is the youngest overall winner. She was also 15.) Well, Reba McEntire just so happens to have a young man named Jaukeem Fortson on her team this season, and this 13-year-old has what it takes to win it all.

Jaukeem Fortson, 13, performs in the Blind Auditions of season 26 of The Voice. He then joined Reba McEntire's team.

Jaukeem Fortson has an incredible voice — not just for a 13-year-old, but for anyone — and he was up against someone twice his age on the Oct. 29 show. Of course, that doesn’t mean much, since his teammate Tsola himself is still quite youthful at 27, but the duo sang the nonsense from ‘Higher Love’ before Reba McEntire made the decision to move on from Jaukeem.
