Clark County identifies victims in southwest Las Vegas fire

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Clark County has identified the four victims who died in a tragic fire in southwest Las Vegas.

The a fire happened on Langhorne Creek Street near Shelbourne and Jones early Thursday morning.

The Clark County Fire Department responded. The staff tried to enter the house through the second floor, but were pushed out due to the heat. Two crews were able to enter through the garage until the house began to collapse.

Fire officials say the roof, third floor and second floor all collapsed into the garage.

The Clark County coroner identified the four as: 48-year-old Ibrahim Adem, 43-year-old Abdusalem Adem, 7-year-old Anaya Adem and 6-year-old Aaliyah Adem.

Clark County identified the four victims who died in a tragic fire in southwest Las Vegas.

Neighbors say their home was demolished Monday afternoon. Across the road is a memorial to the four, filled with flowers, stuffed animals and candles.

The Firefighters of Southern Nevada Burn Foundation is collect donations now for the family.

You can donate here through Nov. 24, and 100% of donations will go to the family affected by the fire.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, but Clark County Fire Chief John Steinbeck said he expects the investigation to take some time.
