India pacer Jasprit Bumrah’s reign as the No. 1 ranked Test bowler is over as South African quick Kagiso Rabada rises to the top and overtakes the India pacer in the latest ICC Men’s Test Player Rankings.

Rabada claimed the No. 1 spot on the back of his strong form for the Proteas during the ongoing ICC World Test Championship, with the right-armer taking his 300th Test wicket in South Africa’s recent win over Bangladesh in Mirpur by seven wickets.

The 29-year-old collected nine wickets during that match to play a key role in the Proteas’ victory, moving up three places to leap past Bumrah, Josh Hazlewood and Ravichadran Ashwin in the process of returning to No. 1 rankings for Test bowlers. for the first time since early 2019.
