Chicago shooting: Shots fired at Norfolk Southern police near 45th Street and Steward Avenye in Fuller Park, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) — Chicago police said Wednesday morning that shots were fired at Norfolk Southern police.

The shooting happened near 45th Street and Stewart Avenue in Fuller Park around 6:15 a.m

Railroad police were on patrol in unmarked police vehicles when shots were fired in their direction, Chicago police said.

No one was injured in the shooting.

The suspects entered two vehicles and drove off in an unknown direction.

No one is in custody and the police are investigating.
