Morgantown man accused of sex crimes against two people with autism

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WDTV) – A Morgantown man was arrested and charged with sex crimes after incidents involving two individuals with autism, including a minor.

Donald Aronhalt, 57, is accused of sexually assaulting a youth with autism and sexually assaulting a man with autism, according to West Virginia State Police.

Aronhalt was visiting his neighbor’s apartment at night while playing video games when both crimes occurred, police said.

Police have charged Aronhalt with second-degree sexual abuse and third-degree assault. He is currently in the North Central Regional Jail on a $31,500 bond.
