The White House holds a press conference in response to Biden's 'garbage' comment

White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will brief reporters Wednesday afternoon.

The press conference comes after President Biden led to backlash When he appeared to compare former President Trump’s supporters to “trash” on Tuesday commenting on a racist joke a comedian made at a Trump rally days earlier Call Puerto Rico an ‘island of waste’. The former president does looking for capitalization from the blunder.

So does Vice President Harris, the Democratic presidential candidate responded to the commentsin an attempt to distance themselves from the consequences.
