Suspected cult members kill 10 in attack on Kagadi

At least 10 people have been killed and eight others hospitalized with serious injuries after being hacked by unknown assailants in western Uganda’s Kagadi district on Tuesday evening, police and the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) said. Wednesday.

According to him, two suspects, identified only as Baguma Obedi, 33, and David Munyirambe, 36, were also killed when they tried to attack the security forces.

“We are investigating the incident and the motive behind the attack remains unknown. We appeal to the public to come forward with any information regarding this incident. Your cooperation is crucial to bring the perpetrators to justice,” SP Hakiza added.
