Police investigate murder in north Topeka

TOPEKA (KSNT) – Topeka police are launching a new homicide investigation in the Little Russia neighborhood on Wednesday.

Rosie Nichols with the City of Topeka said Topeka police were called to the 500 block of Northeast Gordon Street around 9:15 a.m. on Oct. 30 for a medical call. Officers investigating the scene found a man, who was later pronounced dead.

Police determined it was a murder. More updates on this are expected to be released as the 15th murder investigation of 2024.
