The City Council’s fast-paced school lunch challenge is nearing its goal

RAPID CITY, SD (KOTA) – The Rapid City City Council is close to reaching their goal of $25,000 to donate to the Fed and Ready to Learn Program eliminate school meal debt.

The City Council launched the challenge in August, promising a matching donation of up to $25,000. Since this challenge was introduced to the community, the program has raised more than $23,000.

The community has until November 30 to donate towards funds to be matched by Council. To donate, visit the Black Hills Area Community Foundation website.
