The Laredo family is seeking help identifying the driver involved in a recent crash this weekend

LAREDO, Texas (KGNS) – A Laredo family is turning to the community’s help in identifying the driver they say caused their car to roll over multiple times.

The accident happened early Sunday morning, October 27, at the intersection of Lomas del Sur and Cuatro Vientos.

The accident victim, Cynthia Linares, was traveling with her three children when another car suddenly tried to pass between her vehicle and the car next to her, hitting her car from behind and causing it to roll over.

Linares calls it a miracle and hopes the driver is found and held accountable. She calls on the community to be on their guard.

“He didn’t stop, not even to check if everything was okay. I mean, he just left the scene. As far as I know, they told me it was a white Chrysler. People helped us that day. I am so blessed that they were there. I mean, God put them there at the right time,” Linares said.

Linares further said the car was a total loss and was the family’s only means of transportation.
