A little later Fabian tried to call Andre, but he didn’t answer.

“C*** please answer mom is dead,” he texted at 2.44 p.m., four minutes after he called 000 to report that his mother had died in the shower.

‘Please Andre.

“!!

“C***.”

Fabian eventually reached his brother and broke the news of his mother’s death, but without realizing they had already spoken, Monique sent her twin a series of messages.

“Have you answered Fabian’s calls? DO IT NOW, COME RIG (sp) NOW TO MOTHERS (sic),” Monique wrote.

“NOW.

“NOW.”

A few minutes later Andre replied that he was on his way.

The jury was also shown a series of missed calls and messages to Andre on the morning his mother died by his then-girlfriend, Instagram model Grace Piscopo.

The court heard Piscopo called her boyfriend six times between 11.10am and 11.15am but no answer was given.

She then sent him two angry text messages that read “ANDWRR YOUR F***ING PHOME (sic)” and “WHERR AEE YOU (sic).”

She then made seven more calls to his phone between 11.17am and 11.25am, which went unanswered.

She then sent a series of text messages asking “what is wrong with you?” and says, “I’m furious with you, I’m so angry.”

“For God’s sake, answer me,” she texted him.

A few minutes later, call logs show Piscopo called him again and he answered.

It is the State’s case that these calls were made while Mr Rebelo was at his mother’s home in Bicton, which allegedly gave him ample time to kill her and place her body in the shower so that it appeared as if she had had a medical episode.

The process continues.
