Young person killed in an accident involving scooters and a jeep

BALTIMORE – One young person is dead and another injured in a crash involving scooters and a Jeep.

Baltimore police say the two youths were riding scooters along McCulloh Street in West Baltimore on Wednesday around 9 p.m. when they collided with the Jeep.

They were both rushed to hospital. One juvenile was pronounced dead, while the other is expected to be OK.

Police say the driver of the Jeep fled the scene, while a passenger, who was injured, remained at the scene.
