Did Linda Napolitano fake an alien abduction or tell the truth?

As a documentary series that chronicles perhaps one of ufology’s most intriguing and polarizing mysteries, Netflix’s ‘The Manhattan Alien Abduction’ is unlike any other. That’s because it’s not all about Linda Napolitano’s claims that she was taken from her home by aliens in 1989, but also one skeptic’s analysis of whether it was all a hoax. The truth is, the former’s claims have always been a source of controversy, considering how her alleged first experience went before she got even weirder and weirder.

Linda Napolitano believes she was experimented on by aliens

It was the night of November 30, 1989, when everything turned upside down for New York housewife Linda, when the eerie feeling she had just as she was about to sleep became her nightmare. This former singer and family woman kept a 150,000-volt stun gun on her bedside table for safety, despite being on the 12th floor of a Manhattan apartment building, but that wasn’t enough. According to her stories, she had gotten up when she realized she had not looked behind the curtains before going to bed, only to see three gray bipedal creatures standing there.

Linda has long stated that she tried to move or make some noise, but she was still paralyzed and lifted by a beam of light into a spaceship, where she was experimented on before being brought back. According to her statements, she didn’t actually remember much of what they allegedly did until the ufologist Elliot Budd Hopkins hypnotized her after she contacted him with concerns. After all, she reportedly noticed a lump on her nose not long after the incident, only for a subsequent X-ray to reveal that there was actually something in it.

What was even stranger to Linda was that when an ear, nose and throat specialist later examined her, they reportedly found that the object had disappeared – there was only a buildup of cartilage, suggesting the possibility that something had recently been. Additionally, during the hypnosis, the mother of two also reportedly realized that the alleged aliens had been monitoring specific people to continue their experiments. The fact that Budd Hopkins reportedly found 23 witnesses to Linda’s alleged initial kidnapping was also a major problem, especially since most of their claims corroborated Linda’s alleged levitation.

Linda Napolitano feared for her life for more than one reason

According to Linda’s own accounts, this wasn’t the only time she was allegedly abducted by aliens; there was one time when she was on vacation with her husband and another time with her. youngest son Johnny. According to her records, she was in a cabin with her husband to celebrate their anniversary, but she claims that she woke up the next morning in the middle of the nearby forest. Then, in the 1990s, she and her son were allegedly taken together and experimented on by aliens from the same Manhattan apartment, years after her first reported experience.

Therefore, Linda was naturally afraid for herself and her family, as the only motives they could think of were quite negative, but this was compounded by the fact that she believed she was being stalked. That’s because not long after her initial claims were first made public, two men claiming to be police officers showed up on her doorstep to ask her questions about it. They actually identified themselves as Richard and Dan, but later discovered that they were allegedly just bodyguards for a diplomat and were also witnesses to the ordeal.

However, they were so intrigued by the case that they reportedly even wrote letters to Budd Hopkins to verify their existence, but then things took a drastic turn. According to Linds, Richard and Dan may have actually been keeping an eye on her before going so far as to kidnap her in April 1991 to interrogate her further and see if she was an alien herself. She luckily managed to get away, but she claims that Dan kidnapped her again in October of the same year before things got too frantic, but she managed to escape again and never saw these two again.

Linda Napolitano has stood by her claims for decades

Although Linda insists that all of her claims are true, many believe that she fabricated her experiences as a long-form hoax simply to gain the world’s attention. She’s also never been shy about claiming that she sometimes wishes she “was psychotic,” because “at least there’s a treatment for that.” She even said in the documentary series that you have to be a sociopath or a genius to pull off this elaborate lie, but she isn’t either. As to why she believes she was kidnapped, she once said it may have been to get the attention of world leaders and steer them toward sustainability. But alas, none of her claims can ever be verified!
