Three people were found with gunshot wounds in a home in the Bronx on Wednesday evening.

Three people were found fatally shot in the Bronx on Wednesday evening in what is being investigated as a possible murder-suicide, according to police and sources.

The trio was found on Southern Boulevard near Prospect Avenue around 9 p.m., with photos of body bags recovered from a home, as well as a gun next to a large pool of blood outside.

A man and a woman, both 57, were pronounced dead at the scene, the NYPD said.

Both had been shot in the head and the man had also been shot multiple times in the body, police said.

A 34-year-old man was also found shot in the head.

He was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital.

According to sources, the younger man was found with a gun next to him.

It is not immediately clear what relationship the victims had with each other and what the cause of the shooting was.

Sources said it was being treated as a suspected murder-suicide, although the NYPD said it was too early to say.

The identification of the victims depends on family notification, police said.

No arrests have been made as of Thursday morning, police said, as the investigation continues.
