EPL: Ten Hag completely ruined despite €17 million from Man United – ex-teammate

Erik ten Hag’s former teammate, Hans Kraay Jr., has revealed that Manchester United’s decision to sack the Dutchman left him (Ten Hag) devastated.

DAILY POST reports that the Dutch coach was sacked on Monday (October 28), ending a 26-month reign at Old Trafford.

He led the Red Devils to two trophy wins in as many years, but United lacked playing identity during his stay.

The former Ajax boss received a lucrative reward after his dismissal, but still seems disappointed.

Kraay Jr. discussed Ten Hag’s mood and how he responded to the loss of his job.

He said (via mufcMPB): “I understand he gets €17 million and then people say ‘he’s going to do a somersault through Manchester’.

“No, it’s completely destroyed, it’s completely ruined.”
