Anna Paulina Luna notes Harris-Walz’s ‘dying campaign strategies’

Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) interpreted Governor Tim Walz’s (D-MN) response to recent campaign scandals as signs of a “dying campaign.”

With less than a week to go until the Nov. 5 election, President Joe Biden called former President Donald Trump’s supporters “waste.” While Harris has largely avoided questions about the president’s comment, Walz defended Biden for clarifying the comment and asserting that “there’s a place for all of us” in their campaign.

“What you see and hear is the message of a dying campaign. The reason why President Trump is so positive is that there is one point in a campaign, and every person who has ever run for office will tell you: you know when you are going to win. I think he knows he’s going to win. We just need people to show up and vote,” Luna said on Fox News The Ingraham Corner. “But Kamala Harris knows she is losing. Her message is not resonating with the American people and you can see that live in real time.”

Biden’s comments came after Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden. There, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe joked at the expense of the country of Puerto Rico, which was poorly received by the crowd, calling it a “floating island of trash.” Appearing on behalf of Vice President Kamala Harris in a virtual meeting, the president responded: “The only trash I see floating out there are (Trump’s) supporters.”
