One taken to hospital after a head-on crash Thursday morning in Overbrook

OVERBROOK, Kan. (WIBW) – One person was taken to a Topeka hospital after a rear-end collision Thursday morning in Overbrook, officials said.

The collision was reported around 9:40 a.m. at 8th and Cedar in Overbrook.

The driver of one of the vehicles suffered minor injuries, according to Overbrook police. That person was transported by ambulance to a Topeka hospital for treatment, officials said.

The other driver had no injuries that required ambulance transport to the hospital, officials said.

The collision was reported just south of Grace Community Church on the northeast side of Overbrook, where 8th Street meets the US-56 freeway.
