The first-ever camera trap study of the Cardamom Mountains in southwestern Cambodia has given us unprecedented insight into the incredible and endangered wildlife that live in the region, and confirmed how important camera trap images are for conservation.

With more than 95% of the forests intact, the Cardamom Mountains are some of Southeast Asia’s most pristine wilderness and have long been considered a safe haven for endangered species.
