Oil field theft reported in Barton County

Between October 25 and 28, oilfield service equipment and tools were stolen from a location in northwestern Barton County.

Testing and service tools were stolen from a rental in the 1100 block of Northwest 40th Avenue, according to Barton County Sheriff Brian Bellendir.

The loss amounts to over $33,000.
