Name of woman killed in I-75 crash released

ROCKCASTLE, Ky. (WKYT) – The name of a woman killed in a crash in Rockcastle County has been released.

Sally Broesell, 77, died Wednesday evening.

The Rockcastle County Sheriff’s Office says it happened Wednesday evening on I-75 North near mile marker 71.

In a news release, Kentucky State Police said Broesell was driving when she lost control of her car.

She struck a tractor-trailer and a concrete median.

The sheriff’s office and Kentucky State Police responded to the scene.

Northbound was closed but has since reopened.
