Moose eats the pumpkins of former WILX reporters

FRISCO, Colo. (WILX) – Former WILX reporter Megan Hiler sat in the front row for a moose family looking for a snack.

A mother and her two babies in Frisco, Colorado jumped over Hiler’s fence looking for something to eat. One moose walked to the porch, where he ate her jack-o-lanterns. Hiler said she and her fiancé, Spencer Wilson, carved the pumpkins for Halloween.

Hiler said a similar incident happened to her last year. She said she never caught the moose in the act, but when she woke up, all that was left were the stems of her pumpkins.
