Man dies after being trapped by heavy machinery on farm

FRANKLIN CO., Kan. (KCTV/Gray News) – A man was pronounced dead after he was found trapped by heavy machinery near a farm in Kansas.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office Crews responded to reports of a medical emergency in an area northwest of Ottawa around 8:50 a.m. Saturday.

First responders found a 77-year-old man trapped by heavy machinery. Rescuers tried to save his life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

No further information, including the man’s identity, has been released.
