3 dead in possible murder-suicide in the Bronx: sources

LONGWOOD, the Bronx (PIX11) – Three people were shot dead in a possible double murder-suicide at a home in the Bronx on Wednesday evening, according to police and sources.

Officers found a 34-year-old man and a 57-year-old woman gunshot wounds against their heads in the house at 613 Southern Blvd. according to the NYPD around 8:10 p.m. Another man, 57, had been shot multiple times in the body inside the home.

The 57-year-old man and woman died at the scene, police said. The 34-year-old victim was rushed to hospital, but could not be saved.

Authorities believe the shooting was a domestic incident, sources said. The investigation is ongoing.

The victims have not been identified.

There have been six homicides in the Bronx’s 41st precinct this year, two fewer than in 2023, according to NYPD data.
