After months of waiting, everyone’s favorite smart-aleck, severely burned and irreverent”Merc with a mouth” moves from the big screen to the living room screen. “Deadpool and Wolverine” finally has a streaming date, according to an announcement made Tuesday by Disney+.

Released on July 26, 2024, the film earned more than $1 billion at the box office, according to the Walt Disney Company, making it the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time.

“Deadpool & Wolverine” will stream on Disney+ starting Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

The streaming service announced the date in a sneaky, blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment toward the end of a teaser trailer which announced the upcoming 2024-2025 Marvel Studios titles, launching exclusively on Disney+.

What is the storyline of ‘Deadpool and Wolverine’?

Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds), aka Deadpool, is depressed, according to a synopsis from Showtimes. He was dumped by girlfriend Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), rejected by the Avengers and now sells used cars. Things look bleak until an agent of the Time Variance Authority named Mr. Paradox (Matthew Macfadyen) asks Deadpool to join the Marvel cinematic universe and help protect the multiverse.

Deadpool travels to an alternate timeline and teams up with Wolverine (Hugh Jackman), who turns out to be more sullen and grumpy than he expected, Showtimes writes. The pair’s mission is to save Deadpool’s universe before it is destroyed by traveling from one place to another, some of which are filled with debris from other 20th Century Fox films.
