OPP seeking suspect in alleged attack on Huntsville

Police are looking for a suspect after an alleged gun incident that occurred Wednesday evening in Huntsville.

According to Huntsville OPP, officers responded to reports of an assault involving a knife and possibly a firearm on King William Street around 10 p.m. The victim of the incident was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a 34-year-old white male, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 140 pounds, with short brown hair and brown eyes. Police add that he is known to frequent the Huntsville area.

The incident is believed to be isolated. However, police are reminding the public to be vigilant and are appealing for the assistance of anyone with information on the whereabouts of the suspect.
