Ongoing repairs close part of Ala Moana Boulevard

HONOLULU (HawaiiNewsNow) – A portion of the right westbound lane on Ala Moana Boulevard will remain closed until further notice while valve repairs continue, the Board of Water Supply said Thursday.

The lane closure is located between Hobron Lane and Atkinson Drive.

BWS said there were complications with planned valve repairs and the work was taking longer than expected.

It should be ready at seven in the morning

Motorists are advised to drive cautiously near the work area and expect delays.

Customers affected have been provided with an alternate water source, officials said.
