Driver charged with driving under the influence in Colo. crash 66 near Longmont

A driver was reportedly cited for driving under the influence crashed into another vehicle in Colo. Wednesday evening. 66 near Hover Street.

According to Colorado State Patrol Sgt. Patrick Rice, one of the drivers, reportedly drove the wrong way on the highway, resulting in a head-on collision.

It was later determined that the injuries sustained in the crash were minor, Rice said.

One of the vehicles rolled into a nearby yard during the crash, and the Colorado State Patrol responded Wednesday around 6:45 p.m., Rice said.
