Chief Construction Employee Injured in Industrial Accident

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) – An investigation by Chief Construction is underway after an employee was injured on the job Wednesday.

Chief Construction said one of its employees was injured at a maintenance facility at 3935 Westgate Rd in Grand Island.

Grand Island Fire said they transported the man to CHI Health St. Francis with serious injuries. Chief said he has since moved from Grand Island and received medical treatment.

Chief Construction said that as they are still investigating, no further details will be released at this time. No one else was injured in the incident.
