FLEMINGTON – Lamar State Police are investigating an incident of criminal mischief that occurred along Birch Street in Flemington Borough between 5 p.m. on August 13 and 8 a.m. on August 16.

Intimidation

MILL HALL – State police in Lamar are searching for a man accused of making racial slurs at two people near Keystone Central Drive, Bald Eagle Township, on Aug. 15.

According to police, a 48-year-old woman and a 15-year-old girl, both from Williamsport, were leaving the Keystone Central School District at 8:01 p.m. when a maroon midsize SUV with a silver luggage rack headed toward Plunket Run. Road – shouted a racial slur from the passenger seat.

The suspect is described as a white, non-Hispanic male with a brown, full beard, heavier build and wearing a hat, police said.

Anyone with information on the identity of the actor or vehicle is asked to contact PSP Lamar at 570-726-6000 and reference incident PA24-1055111.

Shoplifting

MILL HALL – A 22-year-old Philadelphia man was arrested for shoplifting on Aug. 16 following an incident at Walmart on Hogan Boulevard, Bald Eagle Township, according to Lamar State Police.

The theft was reported by Walmart Asset Protection at 10:06 p.m. and included a package of New York strip steaks, valued at $21.51, and an 8-inch frying pan, valued at $9.97, police said.

Charges are pending.
