Liam Cullen is ready to repay Swansea’s show of faith

Cullen hopes to be involved again in Craig Bellamy’s squad for the Wales Nations League matches against Turkey on November 16 and Iceland three days later.

After playing across all age categories, Cullen was called up to the senior squad for the first time for the Euro 2024 qualifiers in March 2023.

He never played in those matches, but did get his chance in Wales’ 4-0 friendly win against Gibraltar in the autumn.

Cullen has earned five senior caps and started the 1-0 win over Montenegro last month.

He says he’s been impressed since Bellamy walked in.

“The new manager has been very good, he has brought us a more attacking style, which I like down to the last detail.

“I feel like it’s a bit similar here, so it suits us guys from Swansea.

“Hopefully we can finish the Nations League very strongly and go into the World Cup qualifiers with a lot of confidence.”
